Kitchen Remodeling
Not Just for Cooking Anymore…
Years ago the kitchen was considered a “private space”. Its sole purpose was to prepare food. No one ever considered inviting their guests into the kitchen to socialize. Often the kitchen actually had a door that separated it from the rest of the house.
Today the kitchen has become a “public space”. In addition to cooking, the kitchen sometimes serves as home office, homework center, casual dining room and a room to entertain guests. It’s no wonder the kitchen has earned the title “The Heart of the Home”. It’s also no wonder why the kitchen gets so much attention when it comes to remodeling.
Your kitchen should be designed and remodeled to suit the way you use it and the way you live. At Da Vinci we design and remodel kitchens not only to enhance the resale value but more importantly to enhance your lifestyle. By the way, we also believe it should perform its original function, food preparation, as efficiently as possible.
If your kitchen doesn’t function the way you’d like it to or doesn’t look the way you’d like it to, call us. We’ll listen to what your dreams are, then we’ll present you with some options to fulfill your dreams.

Below are just some pictures of the kitchens we’ve remodeled. The projects range from simple cosmetic changes to projects that required relocating walls or even relocating the kitchen entirely.
Greenwood Village Kitchen Remodel
The number one goal of this Greenwood Village kitchen remodel was to widen the island. Two structural walls needed to be moved and two second floor beams also needed to be changed to make this kitchen remodel possible.

Let’s remodel the kitchen… Again!
Denver Kitchen Remodel
This Denver kitchen was cosmetically remodeled to gain its identity. The house was designed to be “Mediterranean” or “Tuscan” in style. The stainless steel, lack of stone and cool colors in the kitchen were counter to the style of the rest of the home.

A Denver kitchen has the wrong identity
Denver Kitchen Remodel
This Denver kitchen remodel was part of a whole house remodel. The original house was predominantly brick. Our goal was to hide the brick and eliminate the Coors Field style kitchen.

Is this a kitchen or a hot dog vendor at Coors Field?
Genesee Kitchen Remodel
By removing a couple of walls in this Genesee kitchen remodel, we were able to expand, brighten and modernize. We also enlarged the dining room window to create a fantastic view from the island.

This house won’t sell… The kitchen sucks!
Greenwood Village Kitchen Remodel
This Greenwood Village kitchen just plain suffered. It was dysfunctional, dated and separated. The remodel made it efficient, modern and reconnected it to the rest of the home.

Castle Pines Kitchen Remodel
Remodeling a kitchen that is only six years old is pretty atypical. But this kitchen had bad lighting and cabinetry stained to look dirty. Warm colored alder cabinetry and reformatting the lighting plan made a huge difference.

It’s only six years old!
Denver Kitchen Remodel
This Denver kitchen was original to the 1956 house. Move a couple walls, enclose a patio, put in all new stuff and you have a significant transformation.

Kitchen Remodel – Way Past Due
Cherry Hills Kitchen
It’s difficult to recognize this kitchen from its before picture but it is the same kitchen. As part of an extensive whole house remodel we were able to nearly triple its size.

Not much to relate to
